Plan Outline


Courses in Spanish and Latin American Studies are available in language, literature and history. This plan is for a major sequence in Advanced Spanish and is suitable for students commencing at intermediate entry level.

Plan Structure


A major sequence comprises 42 units of credit in Spanish courses made up of 12 units of credit in Level 1 language courses plus 30 Upper Level units of credit from language, literature, film and/or history courses.

30 Upper Level units of credit from language, literature, cultural studies, film and/or history courses. One approved course with MODL prefix may be credited towards a Spanish major.
