Description


Examines the development of human societies in the Americas from their arrival to the great empires of the Aztecs and the Incas. The emphasis is on agriculturally based societies including the Olmec, Teotihuacano, Maya and Aztecs of Mesoamerica, the Chavin, Nazca, Moche and Inca of South America and the Anasazi and Mississipian mound builders of northern America.
