This plan offers students a major sequence in Linguistics.

Plan Structure


For a major sequence in Linguistics, students are required to complete 42 units of credit in LING courses, including 12 units of credit at Level 1 and 30 units of credit at Upper Level, including at least 12 units of credit at 3000 level.

Students may count up to 6 units of credit in approved Upper Level courses taught outside Linguistics towards a Linguistics major. For information on such courses, students should consult the Linguistics staff.
