Stream Outline

This specialisation in Business Law provides a strong complement to the other business and finance specialisations in a business environment where the knowledge, expertise and ethical awareness provided by a thorough study of business law are increasingly important and valued.

In light of the current focus on regulatory and ethical breaches in the boardrooms and operating activities of corporate Australia there is a greater need than ever for graduates who are fully cognisant of the content of regulatory obligations and of the gravity of ensuring compliance with them. With this heightened focus comes a significant employer demand for graduates with precisely these skills and convictions. These are graduates who have a different skillset from lawyers but who understand and can advise employers and clients on the opportunities and constraints of operating in a legal framework.
