Plan Outline

The Organisation and Management Studies specialisation is designed for students interested in organisational change to achieve designated organisational goals. There is increasing demand in both the private and public sectors for professional managers and consultants with expertise in organisational design and change implementation.

This specialisation focuses on the analysis of organisational change. Specifically, it looks at the coordination of organisational structure and resources in order to effectively attain organisational goals.

Plan Structure

In order to qualify for the Organisation and Management Studies specialisation, students must complete:

4 core courses
2 disciplinary core courses:
and 4 disciplinary courses selected from the following list:
and 2 elective courses selected from MCom offerings.

Note: COMM5001, COMM5002 and COMM5003 must be taken at the beginning of studies, and COMM5004 must be taken at the end of the program.
