Plan Outline

The Business Strategy specialisation is designed to provide the analytical skills necessary to tackle the complex strategic decisions facing managers in the global business environment.

This specialisation provides the big picture skills necessary for anyone who wants to effectively guide the direction of a business unit or corporation.

Plan Structure

In order to qualify for the Business Strategy specialisation, students must complete:

4 core courses:
2 disciplinary core courses:
and 4 disciplinary courses:
and 2 elective courses selected from MCom offerings.

For those students who wish to extend their MCom (Business Strategy) specialisation, it is recommended that the electives be taken from the following:
Note: Students who commenced prior to 2007 can undertake COMM5004 instead of COMM5005.
