Description This course examines the design and operation of business support systems whose role is to provide financial and non-financial information about resource consumption and value generation, and facilitate the improvement of business processes and organisational performance. The focus is on how organisational processes are evaluated, managed and changed to sustain future profitable operations. The course provides a number of tools that develop an understanding of how processes, as presently configured, consume resources and may be improved in order to generate valued attributes of products and services, including time, quality, invariability, flexibility and cost.
Note: Not available to students who have completed ACCT2522 or ACCT2532 in the last three years. |
