This plan is for a Neuroscience Major within an Advanced Science program, including combined programs.
The plan introduces students to the biological and behavioural aspects of the nervous system, and is based around the neuroscience courses offered by the Departments of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology, and School of Psychology. Stage 1
Recommended Elective:
BIOS1101 Evolutionary and Functional Biology (6 UOC) Note: Before the commencement of Stage 2 students should consult with the appropriate school about the courses recommended for a particular Honours program (see staff in the Departments of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology in the School of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine or in the School of Psychology, Faculty of Science). * Note: students need to achieve a Credit or better in this course as a prerequisite for the compulsory Stage 3 ANAT3411 Neuroanatomy.
