Plan Summary
The major in Media, Culture and Technology provides students with a progressive understanding of the social, cultural and phenomenological impacts of media and communication technologies in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
The major consists of no fewer than 42 units of credit and normally involves two years of Upper Level study.
Before proceeding to a major sequence at Upper Level, all students must take at least 6 or 12 units of credit in Level 1 including the core course MEFT1100 - An Introduction to Media: Television, Telephones and Everyday Life. At Level 2, at least 12 units of credit from:
