Plan Outline

The Development Studies program is an interdisciplinary program that introduces students to the issues that concern the developing world such as poverty and inequality and the theories, policies and practical measures introduced to address these issues.

Plan Structure

To complete a major sequence in Development Studies students must complete:
  • the core program in International Studies (30uoc)
  • a major sequence of courses in Development Studies (36uoc)
  • normally a sequence of language study (24uoc)
  • 12 months study at an approved overseas university
