Compulsory core courses account for 24 UOC (4 courses)
Note: For students intending to complete a major in Actuarial Studies, MATH1151 and MATH1251 should be completed instead of ECON1203 . Please refer to Actuarial Studies outline for further information.
Flexible core courses account for 24 UOC (4 courses). Students should choose four courses from the following list:

2 courses in Level 1 Arts and Social Science accounts for 12 UOC. Choose any 2 courses of Level 1 from the Arts and Social Science offerings. Major requirements account for up to 198 UOC (33 courses) The remaining Business course or credit requirements not required for a major sequence and not core courses, as prescribed, if any, may be chosen from any other courses offered by the Australian School of Business. 1. Of the 108 UOC in Arts and Social Sciences required for the combined degree:
(a) none may be from courses offered by the Australian School of Business. (b) at least 24 and no more than 36 UOC must be obtained in Level 1 courses, including no more than 12 Level 1 UOC offered in any one sequence of study; and (c) no more than 54 UOC in total may be in any one sequence of study.
