Plan Outline

In addition to the normal undergraduate degree, students with strong academic records may undertake an undergraduate Honours degree entailing an additional one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) of study. The Honours program consists of advanced subjects (covering theory, research methodology along with electives) plus a thesis of around 20,000 words. As a more advanced program, the Honours degree is intended to enhance student's critical analytical and problem-solving skills, deepen their knowledge of the fields of industrial relations, human resource management or management, and provide valuable research skills. Entry to the Honours program is based on having a strong academic record, especially within the chosen discipline. Students should seek entry to the Honours program before they finalise their enrolment for third year study.
