Description
Topics covered include:
Introduction to computer systems and data representation, modelling problems, data analysis and visualisation using spreadsheets and numerical computing environments. Use of programming structures to customise solutions and for presentation of information. Introduction to computer architecture, security, networks and emerging technologies.
Additional Information
Many Engineering degrees specify this as the standard first year computing course. After studying ENGG1811, if you decide to take more computing, you will need to progress via COMP1917.
