Description

This course introduces Honours students to current issues in linguistics. The course is designed to develop students’ independent learning and research skills in the field of linguistics and aims to broaden their understanding of current research issues in linguistics. Students are required to read selected readings and critically discuss the relevant concepts and practical applications. Students also present a short talk about their research topic and write short critical reflection pieces based on relevant linguistics seminars they have attended.
