Description

Design, layout and optimisation of surface and underground mines for hard rock deposits. Mine design and optimisation software packages.

Advanced level pre-feasibility studies of hard rock mine project evaluation inclusive of: reserves, method selection, geotechnical design, project risk, mine schedule, equipment selection, cost estimation, economics / finance and sustainability. Project-based learning.
