Introduction to manufacturing facilities design and material handling, cost and principles, process design, flow analysis techniques, plant layout techniques and space requirements, area allocations, application of computer simulation and modelling, sources of information for manufacturing facilities design, time study procedures and applications, principles of motion economy, principles of ergonomics and applications in manufacturing, CATIA applications of ergonomics.
