Description

Designing for economic manufacture. Geometric analysis of product designs and the technology and economics of manufacturing and assembly processes. The principles and technology underlying dimensional metrology for quality product manufacture. The analysis provides a basis for rational process selection and the refinement of product design to suit the chosen manufacturing methods.
