Description

Extends work covered by providing specialist study in one or more of the following areas: HSC preparation, creativity (improvisation and composition), aesthetics, philosophy of music education, music technology, curriculum development and planning for the needs of special learners.


Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course students should be able to:
  • Read and implement the content and structure of the NSW music syllabus
  • Analyse and appraise significant perspectives in music education through the scholarly literature including topics such as HSC and IB preparation, improvisation composition, philosophy of music education and curriculum development for the needs of special learners.
