Description

Continuation of MUSC3501, plus masterclasses on performance practice and preparation for recital at end of semester.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students should have gained an:
  • Enhanced ability to think critically and imaginatively and make informed judgements through the ability to respond to diverse interpretations of a range of issues and the ability to assess and interpret a range of sources
  • Enhanced problem solving skills through application to issues arising in one’s own performance and that of other class members

  • Enhanced ability in working collaboratively through group work and ensemble performance
  • Enhanced awareness of others’ interests and needs through collaborative work and group performance
  • Enhanced awareness of details of musical style and the resources available to support informed musical interpretations
  • Enhanced individual and group performance skills demonstrated through public and in-class performances.
