Description

Continuation of MUSC3311/MUSC2332 with a specialisation in selected techniques, sound recording, studio work, software and hardware, plus methods of using technology in music composition.


Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, students will be able to:
  • Solve problems in creating and playing back music using at least two pieces of software, including Recording Studio software
  • Understand some of the issues involved when working in groups constructively in order to solve technical and musical problems
  • Be able to address problems when composing or recording music in an electronic and/or acoustic medium
  • Develop other skills, including presentation of integrated knowledge about music technology to their colleagues.
