Description

Examines the structure and processes of music, focussing on the study of a range of analytical techniques and their application in various styles and periods.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to apply critical, graphical and formal analytic techniques to a range of compositions and musical style in a creative way and engage with scholarly analytical writing about music in journals and other sources with enhanced understanding.
