Description

Includes private tuition on major instrument and participation in university ensembles, plus tutorials on minor studies instruments (guitar and percussion).


Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course you should be able to:
  • Perform competently on a range of instruments for classroom teaching
  • Demonstrate performance capabilities in a variety of ensembles
  • Construct appropriate instrumental programs.

Assessment

  • Major practical instrument - 50%
  • Minor practical instruments (x2) - 25%
  • University ensembles (x2) - 20%
  • Australia Ensemble reports - 5%
