Description

This program is undertaken in two schools, eg History and Politics and International Relations, History and German Studies. Students are required to complete a research and seminar program acceptable to both schools.


Learning Outcomes

Students who actively participate in and successfully complete a Combined Honours program will, in the History program:
  • Develop skills in research design and strategies
  • Be critically conversant with a range of historiographical and theoretical approaches
  • Enhance their skills in transforming research and thinking into written history
  • Enhance their skills in oral presentation
  • Have an awareness of history as a profession and a community of scholars.
