Description Examines the justification for, and ways of teaching, the historical and philosophical components of the NSW Years 7-12 Science curriculum; includes the study of the history and nature of science and its relations with other aspects of human culture such as philosophy, religion, art and poetry.

Learning Outcomes On the completion of this course, students will learn how to identify philosophical and historical issues in science education, and how to discuss and research such issues.
