Description

Students learn video/audio postproduction and develop their ideas into multimedia works suitable for public exhibition. CD Roms, web-sites and video are produced in small groups, under supervision.


Learning Outcomes

On completion of the course, students should be able to:
  • Develop a set of skills needed to engage in contemporary media practice
  • Gain an overview of the production process, from the development of a project outline through to the making of a final work suitable for exhibition/distribution
  • Learn how to take ideas (written, conceptual, theoretical, and practical) and turn them into a media-specific work
  • Engage with current discourses and practices concerning the distribution, attribution and licensing of digital media.
