Description

Reading, and discussion in Korean, of authentic Korean texts by utilising various reading strategies. Participation in a variety of writing, such as song writing, poster creation, literature responses, note taking, and essay writing. Includes systematic practice of seminar presentations.


Learning Outcomes

After completing this course, students should be able to:
  • Perform language functions needed to carry out activities in academic contexts
  • Understand and express an opinion as well as feelings and emotions on familiar social and abstract topics
  • Draw up documents and reports on general business
  • Understand and describe social and cultural matters, based on the understanding of high-frequency idiomatic expressions and typical Korean culture.
