Description
Further develops and extends language skills acquired in GERS2400 and continues introduction to German Studies. Includes 1 hour per week discussion or German literary texts.

- Understand main points of everyday conversations in standard German
- Comprehend and extract main information from media reports and a variety of other sources
- Recognise socio-cultural differences and/or similarities between own culture and target language
- Participate actively in most conversational situations
- Deliver short, coherent speeches, express opinions
