Overview

Atax is the taxation school in the Faculty of Law. Established in 1991, Atax has built a reputation both nationally and internationally as a leading provider of tax education, research and training.

Atax offers a range of taxation programs from undergraduate to Masters and PhD. Our programs are designed to help build the skills and knowledge of all sectors of the tax profession including accounting and legal majors, in the tax groups of large and medium sized corporations, in smaller accounting and law firms and in government taxation, treasury and revenue offices.

Courses are regularly reviewed and updated to keep our students abreast of changes in the taxation system and the comprehensive content and currency of our programs is held in high regard.

The Atax approach to taxation studies is innovative and practical. We offer face to face classes in Sydney and distance learning. By linking web technology, audio conferencing and intensive regional classes, we enable our students to study taxation from anywhere in Australia.
