Program Description
The Master of Finance is designed for graduates who have completed a finance major in their undergraduate program and who are looking to develop their finance skills by studying more advanced finance topics. There are five streams:
- Master of Finance (General Finance)
- Master of Finance (Corporate Finance)
- Master of Finance (Funds Management)
- Master of Finance (International Finance)
- Master of Finance (Investment Banking)
Entry to this program requires a Bachelor degree with a major in finance from a recognised institution (or overseas qualifications deemed equivalent) with a credit average overall, and with a credit average in the finance undergraduate major or equivalent. Candidates must also have demonstrated competence in mathematical and statistical methods.
The Master of Finance is developed and managed in close consultation with the finance sector and offers advanced disciplinary depth, exposing students to latest thinking and current research in finance. Applied learning activities, both in and out of classroom, ensure participants are familiar with and can undertake critical analysis of the latest theories, techniques and practices in a chosen subject area. The Learning Partnership exposes students to industry leaders and their experiences.
