This is a Graduate Diploma in Science and Technology program with emphasis on Spatial Information.
Note: A candidate enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Spatial Information who has not taken out their award and whose entry to the Masters program has been approved, may carry completed units of credit from the Graduate Diploma program into the Masters Program. Candidates are required to complete a program totalling 36 UOC comprising 18 UOC from List 1 and an additional 18 UOC of electives selected from List 1 and/or List 2. The program will normally comprise one year of full-time study or 1.5 to two years part-time study. Courses may be delivered in normal semester mode or as short courses. List 1 courses not offered in a particular year may be substituted by an approved equivalent course. Elective courses other than those listed below may be taken with the approval of the Program Authority.
List 1 Courses - minimum 18 UOC
List 2 Courses - 24 UOC
Candidates are required to complete a program totalling 36 UOC made up of 4 compulsory courses (24 UOC) and 2 elective courses (12 UOC). Compulsory courses not offered in a particular year may be substituted by an approved equivalent course.
