The Graduate Certificate in Computing is designed for students with no prior computing background, or those who are not eligible for direct entry to the Graduate Diploma in Computing and Information Technology program.
Program Objectives and Learning Outcomes The aim of the GradCert Computing is to provide students with introductory level knowledge in this area that may be used to gain admission to the GradDip CIT program or to complement any informal education they may have acquired through work.
Students complete the Computing major with the following restrictions:

Applicants for this certificate must have completed some studies in mathematics.
Completion Options After successful completion of four courses students have two options:
Articulation
Students can apply to articulate from the Graduate Certificate in Computing program to the Graduate Diploma program (5432) provided they have failed no courses. Full credit may be granted where the student does not take out the award. Students should pay careful attention when selecting their courses to ensure that they align with the program for the major of their preference. Students are advised to consult:
