Stream Outline
The Superannuation specialisation is designed for tax professionals who are regularly faced with complex superannuation, tax and regulation issues in their professional roles. All courses are available by distance education and some are also available face-to-face in Sydney.
The specialisation will:
- Deepen the ability of tax professionals to identify and alert their clients to superannuation and taxation issues within the complexity and volume of tax law in Australia.
- Enable tax professionals to develop skills in identifying underlying business problems and issues relating to superannuation and to think creatively about solutions.
- Provide exposure to the more complex aspects of the taxation discipline and a critical understanding of the Australian taxation system.
- Emphasise the development of skills in research, analysis and sustained self-directed writing, including skills in collecting and organising material.
