Stream Outline
Banking in a competitive, globalised economy requires an in-depth understanding of the ways financial institutions make decisions, and how these affect outcomes such as financial asset values and pricing. Specialise in banking in your Master of Commerce and learn how loan and financing decisions are made by financial institutions. You will also become skilled at understanding how risk management strategies are developed to minimise the damaging effects of adverse movements in financial markets, local and global economies, and other uncertainties.

High performing students will have the opportunity to apply for participate in a MCom Practicum. This would replace the Capstone course. How to apply COMM5030.
CREDIT TRANSFERS
(including the Data Analysis course) may be awarded for courses (maximum 24 UOC) based on your previous studies. These credits will be assessed upon application and you will be notified (in the offer letter) of the credit/s awarded.
