Plan Summary
The Human Resource Management (HRM) specialisation is aimed at students interested in acquiring a working knowledge of all key HRM functions and processes. Specialists in HRM are increasingly sought after in private and public sector organisations, both as managers and as management consultants. A good knowledge of HRM issues is also important for those interested in a general management career.
This specialisation provides a strong applied and theoretical grounding in all aspects of the management of people. In order to qualify for the Human Resource Management specialisation, students must complete:
4 core courses: 2 disciplinary core courses:
and 4 disciplinary courses selected from the following list:
and 2 elective courses selected from MCom offerings.
