Description

The aim of this course is to provide law students with an introduction to the theory of finance and its application to corporate law. Corporate finance topics include interest rates and the time value of money, risk and return in financial markets, long-term financing, derivative securities, market efficiency, and mergers and acquisitions. Legal applications include prejudgment interest, securities fraud, insider trading and market manipulation.
