Course Objectives
- Incorporate into arguments about controversial issues in property law an understanding of the role that property law plays within the legal system
- Understand the purpose of, and apply to factual scenarios, important property legislation, including the Retail Leases Act 1994, Residential Tenancies Act 1987, Strata Schemes (Freehold Development) Act 1973, Strata Schemes (Leasehold Development) Act 1986., Strata Schemes Management Act 1996
- Engage in decates about the appropriate scope of property law (for example, the objects to which property concepts ought to be applicable)
