Capacity and location decisions: long term capacity strategies, international capacity planning; planning facilities with a region. Global manufacturing and the virtual corporation. Focused manufacturing; continuous improvement and the experience curve. Strategic management of human resources; strategy implementation and change management; linking operational performance to manufacturing strategy.
