Plan Outline

This plan provides postgraduate preparation for education and service in community development. It includes study in social and community development theory and practice, social policy in development, program management and evaluation and specialised studies in areas of community development. It is designed to address the continuing education needs of specialists in this field as well as to provide a general orientation for those wanting to enter the field.

The program is based on a social justice philosophy, a human rights framework and a community development.

Plan Structure

The Master of Social Development in Community Development (program 8939, plan code SOCWFS8939) aims to offer a graduate degree in social development practice with an international focus. It comprises a total of 48 units of credit of core and elective courses.
