Develop skills that allow you to write across a wide variety of styles and genres. Understand how to compose, draft and revise a piece of writing, challenge yourself and stretch your creative capacity.

What You'll Study

Creative Writing will provide you with practical knowledge of the craft of writing grounded in the study of literature. Within the unique UNSW environment you can forge links with other areas of creative production such as screenwriting, media and performing arts. Creative Writing courses include small-group workshops, new experimental techniques of writing and student readings. These courses will develop your creativity, editing and self-reflection skills and enhance your understanding of literary history and current literary trends.
