What You'll Study

The UNSW Asian Studies major is distinguished by its “all Asia” approach. You will gain a critical understanding of the Asian region, Australia’s place within it, and diverse perspectives on key issues in the region. Asian Studies students are encouraged to learn an Asian language, UNSW offers courses at various levels in Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Indonesian, and have the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in a particular country. A deep understanding of the Asian region is critical for careers in international relations and business within the region.
