Description

Theatre and Performance Studies provides the opportunity to engage both critically and creatively with a broad spectrum of human performance – from the most mundane daily rituals to celebrated, high art theatre, from stand-up comedy to hi-tech multimedia performance. With a focus on contemporary forms of theatre and dance in Europe and Australasia, the curriculum offers a rich mixture of theoretical and practical courses that develop the capacity to analyse performance events, texts and contexts as well as fundamental skills in performance writing and making.
