Cognitive Science

Cognitive Science is a multi-disciplinary area of study which deals with the mind, language, knowledge and intelligence. It draws upon the disciplines of philosophy and psychology, together with developments in computer science and linguistics and represents a broad-based approach to some of the most exciting areas of contemporary research.

Studying Cognitive Science at UNSW

A major sequence in Cognitive Science is available within the Bachelor of Arts and within related combined degree programs. The major sequence is designed to complement more extensive study in Philosophy, Psychology, Linguistics or Computer Science and to give students concentrating in any of these disciplines an understanding of the significant connections between them.
