Stream Outline
REGZB1 is the 24 UoC Science stream within 6114 University Preparation Program (UPP).
Stream Structure
The UPP Science stream is designed to provide access to study in areas of Science at university level upon successful completion of the program.
UPP Science students may apply to transfer to the UPP Humanities stream at the end of Semester 1 if they have successfully completed REGZ9000.
The structure is as below:
Semester One: REGZ9000 University Orientation & Study Skills 1; REGZ9070 Maths Skills 1
Semester Two: REGZ9255 University Orientation & Study Skills 2; REGS9072 Maths Skills 2
UPP Science students may apply to transfer to the UPP Humanities stream at the end of Semester 1 if they have successfully completed REGZ9000.

Semester Two: REGZ9255 University Orientation & Study Skills 2; REGS9072 Maths Skills 2
The admission rank will be determined by the marks received in the core REGZ9000 and REGZ9255 courses. A raw mark out of 100 will be weighted equally between results recorded in passing attempts at REGZ9000 UOSS 1 and REGZ9255 UOSS 2.
In order to be awarded the UPP (Science) qualification and therefore be eligible to receive an admission rank, a student must also pass REGZ9070 UPP Mathematics Skills 1 and REGZ9072 UPP Mathematics Skills 2.
