Stream Outline
This plan offers a course of study designed to provide Indigenous students with a pathway into academic study in Arts and Social Sciences.
Stream Structure
Students enrolled in the Arts and Social Sciences (Indigenous) plan must complete 48 units of credit as follows:
Semester1
Semester1
- ATSI0001 Enabling Skills 1 (6 UOC)
- ATSI1011 Indigenous Australia (6 UOC)
Plus 12 units of credit in Level 1 Arts and Social Sciences courses.
Semester 2
Semester 2
- ATSI0002 Enabling Skills 2 (6 UOC)
- ATSI1012 Aboriginal Sydney (6 UOC)
Plus 12 units of credit in Level 1 Arts and Social Sciences courses.
Students wishing to progress to bachelor single degree programs are advised to include in the enabling program the courses that will count towards the requirements of the bachelor degree program and major/s in which they are interested.

Advanced Standing
Students who successfully complete the enabling program and proceed to an undergraduate Arts and Social Sciences degree will be eligible for a maximum of 36 units of credit advanced standing (transfer credit) for completed Arts and Social Sciences Courses.
No credit will be granted to any student for ATSI0001, and ATSI0002 as these are enabling courses to support students in their program.
