Stream Outline

The Biological Chemistry stream allows undergraduate students to combine an interest in chemistry with studies in biochemistry and molecular biology. This stream is restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Life Sciences.

Stream Structure

A major in Biological Chemistry is comprised of 72 units of credit of courses as follows:

Stage 1
and one of:

Stage 2
**NOTE: Students intending on taking level III BIOC or BABS courses should take the advanced level II BIOC courses in place of BIOC2181 and BIOC2291.

Stage 3
PLUS

At least 6 UOC of level III CHEM, BIOC or BABS courses.
