- MATH1141 Higher Mathematics 1A (6 UOC)
- MATH1241 Higher Mathematics 1B (6 UOC)
- 12 UOC of non-statistics level III (or hybrid) Mathematics course*
- 6 UOC of any level III (or hybrid) Mathematics course not already taken
Students majoring in Mathematics are strongly recommended to take MATH2301 or an equivalent course in practical numerical computing.
Many courses in Mathematics are offered at two levels. The higher level courses cater for students with greater mathematical ability and/or a higher level of prior knowledge. Students in Advanced Science are required to enrol in the higher level courses where offered.
