Stream Structure

Students undertaking the Food Process Engineering stream CEICF13040 will follow the structure of program 3040- Chemical Engineering with the following substitutions:
  • BABS1201 Molecules, Cells and Genes replaces CEIC1000 as the recommended first year elective
  • FOOD1210 Chemistry, Biochemistry and Microbiology of Foods replaces CEIC2004
  • CHEM2921 Food Chemistry 1 replaces CEIC3002
  • FOOD2320 Food Microbiology replaces a Professional Elective
  • FOOD3030 Food Safety and Quality Contrpol replaces a Professional Elective
  • FOOD3010 Food Preservation replaces a Professional Elective
