Plan Outline

Neuroscience Honours is a cross-faculty program offered by the School of Medical Sciences and the School of Psychology. For entry into the course, a Science student should have completed a Neuroscience Major sequence, as well as all other requirements or the award of a B.Sc. including the General Studies requirements. Other students are eligible to enrol in the course subject to the approval of the Course Coordinator.

A good weighted average mark (WAM) based on stage 1-3 courses is required. A WAM of 70 or more guarantees entry into the Honours program. An applicant with a WAM of at least 60 will be considered if the weighted average for all of their level 3 subjects is 65%, or if they have done additional training, perhaps as vacation scholars.

Plan Structure

Enrolment in 48 units of credit taken as 24 UOC in two consecutive semesters over a 1 year period (or part-time equivalent).
