Today's labour markets place more and more emphasis on the knowledge and skills acquired in higher education and an Honours degree is a sure way to distinguish yourself from other job applicants. Many employers and post-graduate institutions will only consider applicants who have a strong Honours degree. This is especially true for jobs and post-graduate places in Financial Economics.
