The BSc degree requirements are administered by the Faculty of Science, however the Computer Science major is managed by the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
As part of the overall UoC required for the BSc, the following courses are required for a major in Computer Science.
Core Courses: Students complete 36 units of credit (6 courses) of core computing courses:
Where professional issues and ethics and/or project management is completed elsewhere as part of this combined program, students may replace COMP4920 with an additional computing elective of equal unit of credit at level three or higher.
Elective Courses Students complete 30 units of credit (5 courses) of computing electives of level three or higher. MAJORS
The flexibility of the Computer Science program electives allow double majors within the program.
